I obtained my first Golden Retriever in 2003, knowing very little about the breed with a passion to show dogs!!  I spoke to many breeders, contacted numerous clubs, joined various overseas Golden Retriever Clubs, bought many, many books & visited CRUFTS (the biggest & greatest dog show on earth!!) to learn more about the breed.  Once you have been owned by a Golden Retriever, you will never be able to live without one ......and it never stays at only one!  Most people will tell you that they either have 2 - 8 Golden Retrievers sharing their home. Currently I have 4 Golden Retrievers with whom I share my life.

Irene and I became partners in 2007 when we decided to import a dog from Australia. We are extremely grateful to Mrs Emma Clark from Naragold Golden Retrievers in Queensland, Australia for entrusting us with Max!  We jointly registered our kennel name "Mochavulin" that is a combination of Irene's kennel "Tamnavulin" and "Mocha" who is Max's dad, Ch Giltedge Blackwatch - one of the most beautiful, sound Golden Retrievers I have ever seen.
